This impressive win was claimed by the M& M’s Perfect Game Trust through William Mackin. The ticket was purchased at Village Pantry #5716 in Marysville.
$375 Million
In Ohio, the biggest Mega Millions grand prize was claimed by trustee Brian C. Mulhall of The Great Hope Trust. The trust took the cash option and got $182.5 million after taxes. The ticket was purchased at Giant Eagle, 8383 Tyler Blvd. in Mentor.
$270 Million
The jackpot occupying the second place in the top was won through a “Quick Pick” ticket which was purchased by Lyons Main Stop, 105 W Morenci St. The prize was claimed by Mark M. Mockensturm of the M & H Blind Trust.
$265 Million
The third-largest jackpot was also claimed through a trust, namely the WFJ Trust. The winning ticket was a “Quick Pick” which was sold at Kroger, West Corry Street. The winners chose the cash lump sum.
$261 Million
The state’s first win in Powerball was also the biggest, and it happened approximately two months after Ohio joined the multi-state lottery. The lucky winner chose the cash option of $134.9 million and decided to remain anonymous. The ticket which had the winning numbers was sold at Hub Carry Out & Deli.
$252 Million
A trustee from The Crazy Luck Trust claimed this amazing prize and chose the cash option worth $134.7 million, before taxes. The ticket was sold at GetGo Café + Market.
$124 Million
A single player managed to match all six winning numbers and won $124.9 million. The prize was claimed by Mary Ann Thompson and she chose the cash option. After federal and state taxes, she received $51.9 million.
